CUSTOMER REVIEWS
Going to have to say.......Great!! Honestly, except for not spinning the tires as hard when you shift hard; can't tell the difference which probably is a good thing. By not spinning the tires as hard tells me the energy which would go into spinning the pulley instead is going to the tires. Which is also a good thing. Was surprised as to just how heavy the stock pulley and basically a mini-flywheel. Been putting off putting the car on the dyno waiting on AccessPort software to get objective results, but in my mind until anything is proven otherwise, something I'd certainly do again. My next priority is getting the 4.08 gears (ordered two weeks ago) and getting them squared away but right now I'm a happy camper.

Ok, got my oil changed AND had my NST crank pulley and alternator pulley installed at the same time. First of all, let me say that the pieces look great. They are SO much lighter than the stock units and the quality looks fantastic. I had a mobile mechanic come by to do it. He used to work at an Infiniti dealership so he didn't have too much of a problem installing. He did say that pulling the stock alternator pulley off was a bitch from underneath, but he got the whole thing done in about an hour. Driving impressions: The car definitely revs more freely and seems to accelerate quite well. I don't know if it's just me, but it seems that there is less vibration than before also. I was expecting the opposite, but was happily surprised that the car felt smoother overall. This was the first mod done to the car and I'm happy that I did it. Once I drive it more, I'll post any other impressions that come up. All in all I give NST a big thumbs up for great service and information as well as supplying a quality product.

OK, have put about 100 miles on the car since yesterday's install. No problems whatsover. My amp gauge is reading just like it was before the pulley install, and YES I did install the alternator overdrive pulley. More observations: Besides being substancially more rev happy, I've noticed that the shifting doesn't feel anywhere near as "clunky" as it did before the install. I don't know if the extra inertial mass of the stock harmonic balancer had anything to do with it, but it is NOTICEABLY better now. I've also been resetting my MPG computer and have noticed the average seems to be 2-3 mpg higher than what I was registering before the install. I will run a couple of tankfulls through and monitor the numbers to make sure this is for real. Thanks again to NST, I'm happy with the mod and am looking forward to doing something more substancial in the near future. Guess I'll wait until SEMA to see what's available.

NonStopTuning Pulley Kit - (installed w/ new Gates belt) Like others said, it's noticeably lighter than the stock pulley. The car feels remarkably different in acceleration. There's a nice flat road ... that goes nowhere (and I made absolutely sure it was clear), and I opened up the taps...whoomph. I think my brain got smashed in the back of my head. Also to note: my MPGs went up too, but I did install a few things at the same time. No complaints from me so far though, good work NST.

Got the car back last night after the headers and pulleys were installed. What a difference It goes like a bat out of hell. It gets to 80 km much quicker from a standing start. Its scary fast when you put all the mods together. My mechanic who installed the parts could not believe how fast it excelerates. now. 4.08 gears plus Stillen G3 intake, CBE, cats, headers, with the underdrive pulley and overdrive pulley on the altenator with a cobb tune. Car will be dynoed next week. The voltage did not move on the gauge 14.3 to 14.4. 12.6's here we come !!!

I'm at over 1k miles with the NST pulleys and new belt, and I've not had any issues. I really love this mod. As for dynos... none. The gains are negligible, but the response feels great. I love shifting into 3rd and punching it... the engine winds up much easier and gets into fel... er passing territory easily

Installing them was rough but everything went smooth later, I definitely noticed that i gained power and torque once i took the car for a spin, great mod believe me..dont waste your money on light weight pulley that have stock size.. it wont do anything.. you "NEED" smaller size to let the magic of light weight pulley works.. I'm very happy with the purchase and i would buy it again with no doubt.

I'll offer up my .02 real fast since I had these put on last Saturday. Woke up around 8:00 am and set out for the short 3 hour trip to Houston to pick up the parts and have them installed. I wanted the install done by them since these were their parts and all. On the way out though, I pulled over and took a quick video of how well the car reved up in neutral after it had time to get up to operating temperatures. Did a few quick pulls before continuing on... The things I noted are: -Pulleys did free up some power. -No change in sound from the engine or anything. Everything sounds just fine. -The stock pulleys are HEAVY!!!! My goodness they were heavy in comparison... -Revmatching is a bit easier. -IMPROVED GAS MILEAGE!!!!!! I want to call special attention to this last one because I really feel that it is often overlooked when people discuss modificatioins to any vehicle and it really frustrates me because I am a stickler for maximizing the efficiency of a system, in this case the engine. When I set out Saturday morning and got on the open road I reset the in car instrument that records average MPH and average MPG and drove very conservatively, trying to maximize my MPG. I originally planned to fill back up once I got to Houston and get a hard figure, but they unplugged my battery and it erased my trip numbers (o the joys of the digital age). However, the in car instrument showed a solid 27 mpg for most of the trip. Just for reference, the stated highway mileage is 26 mpg. Post pulley install, I filled back up, reset the in car instrument and hit the open highway driving the same way. On the return trip I recorded a solid 29 mpg and verified it after getting home and filling the tank back up. That is a solid 2 mpg increase or a 7.4% increase in gas mileage which is IMHO, pretty substantial. I will be keeping a close eye on the coming weeks to see if I get similar results under normal driving conditions. As an aside, there was a section of driving where the speed limit was 55 mph for probably 5 minutes of time with pretty even terrain. Before the pulleys, I was seeing around 28.5mpg and after the pulleys I was seeing around 31 mpg, or about 9% increase in mpg.

I have these pullies installed - they are great! Good mod for a good price. I have the crank and alt pullies, with the shorter belt. The power increase is probably there but unnoticeable, but the car revs a bit better.
- Alstann ... 2013
I had my pulleys installed ~10k mi. Currently about to hit 55k (N/A), and zero problems from either crank/alternator pulleys.
- Chris ... 2013
I got mine installed and the engine feels less sluggish. I like!

Pulleys are in!! Nissan Master Tech "Chuck" did a great job. He said he lowered the front sway bar to access them. He had it done in about an hour (that included a ester oil change)....As far as Reviews, Chuck at Nissan said everything went smooth and he really liked the quality of the pulleys....those factory pulleys feel like 10lb weights!!! Drove 5 miles home and got on it twice and seem to feel a bit quicker revs in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd....Also some others complained about wine or noise....I could hear nothing and seems just as smooth as factory or better...(maybe Nissan Techs have a special sheet on how to install and remove pulleys?) Overall im very pleased!!!
- Shadezz ... 2013
I'm happy with mine. Car runs great. Colors don't make a difference once it is in there because you can't see it. I should have gone with black if I were to do it again.
- axmea ... 2014
I just had my pulley kit installed. I'm happy with the results. The engine revs a bit quicker and seems like it has a touch more power.
- gbrettin ... 2014
That's my car in the video years ago! Based from experience these pulleys are well worth the money. Does everything it says it does. Easy installation (depending on car and mechanical knowledge). I've had the NST Pulley on my tC for about 4 years/40k miles and that was with about 20k miles of having it turbo charged. After that I bought some for my 370Z and what a difference it makes! When installing correctly and using NST products you won't have any issues!
- Josh ... 2016
The pulleys are great. My revs are much smoother and I feel more linear power. I have done many mods to this 370z.
